Road Trip Adventures - Colorado

The last few months we've had the pleasure of taking a few weekend road trips for our music. In late September, we traveled to Colorado--and although the weekend went fast, we enjoyed seeing those mountains--if ever so distant.

Performances included a wonderful time at the Black Rose Acoustic Society

in Colorado Springs.

Colorado Music Tour 2017

We had such fun this past month on our second Colorado Music Tour.

We made our usual stop in Burglington, CO at a sweet little park to have lunch and stretch our legs.

Our first night, we performed at the Front Range BBQ in Colorado Springs.

Their food was delicious!

Sunday we traveled to Alamosa for our Sundays at Six performance. 

We made it through our soundcheck, but then the rain clouds gathered.... 

Before we'd finished our first song, it began pouring and even hailed and our performance was cancelled.

Didn't even get any pictures at this place because of the rain...so here's a shot of us with our Grandma and Grandpa, who toured with us this summer in their RV!

The next day we journeyed on to Creede for a return performance at Kip's Grill.

They have awesome fish tacos!

The next few days were spent enjoying the San Juan Mountains near Silverton.

We hiked, shopped, and enjoyed the beauty of the mountains and the very COOL temperatures of 40-70 degrees.

We even saw a MOOSE for the very first time--right at the entrance to our campground.

Saturday night we performed at the Wright Opera House in Ouray--the highlight of our tour!

Thanks to everyone at the Wright (and the Ouray Victorian Inn) for all your hospitality and generosity. We had a wonderful time.

For our final night, we returned to Manitou Springs for a performance at Kinfolks.

Colorado Music Tour ~ The Wright Opera House

We're having a great time in the Colorado Rockies, enjoying a little time off between performances. 
Join us this Saturday, July 15, in the sweet little town of Ouray, CO at the Historic Wright Opera House. 
Music from 7-9:00. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Purchase advance tickets HERE.

After that, we'll close our music tour with a performance at Kinfolks, in Colorado Springs. Music from 5-7:30 PM.

Colorado Music Tour ~ Creede and the San Juan Mountains

Tonight we continue our journey through Colorado, stopping in Creede for a performance at Kip's Grill. 

We performed there last year and have to admit that their Fish Tacos are Out-of-This-World-Wonderful.

After that, we'll travel into the San Juan Mountains to enjoy some camping and hiking.

Colorado Music Tour Begins

We're excited to begin our Colorado Music Tour.

A Year in Review ~ 2016

2016 was a GREAT YEAR FOR US!

We held 58 performances (a record for us), met such lovely people, and visited so many interesting places. 

We want to thank all who have befriended us and supported our music these past four years.

Entering COLORADO!

We had such fun on our Colorado Music Tour last month when we visited some of the best views in the state -- 

Colorado Springs, Silverton, Ouray, Alamosa, Creede, Crested Butte, and Almont.

We were invited back to several of the venues we visited and hope to schedule another Colorado Tour next summer!
